I grew up surrounded by books. I was reading by the time I was four and I started writing my own stories very soon after. My family is the type which ‘speaks English correctly’, so I quickly developed a strong understanding of grammar, spelling, and the Oxford comma (I’m a fan).
As I grew, I started to help my friends and classmates with their writing. After a while, I realized I was spending more time helping them than writing my own things.
My writing and editing skills helped me – and those in my study groups – as I worked my way through college as an adult. I’d love to put them to use for you.
